Dr. Figueredo’s personal, individualized healthy aging program consists of the synergy produced by a low glycemic, anti-inflammatory nutritional approach. In her case, this means nutrient-dense calorie restriction, optimal exercise, and appropriate hormone modulation.

A Natural Approach to Balance

As women and men approach mid-life, many often wonder whether or not hormone therapy is the right option for them. Countless studies have shown that traditional (synthetic) hormone therapy can increase the likelihood of various types of cancer and heart disease.

With natural bioidentical hormones, women and men can find relief from symptoms of hormonal imbalance without the risks that come along with synthetic hormones.

Almost all of us over the age of 40 (and in many cases over 30) begin to experience hormone imbalance. Over our lifetime, we are exposed to Environmental or dietary toxins, which contribute to the natural decline of hormones as we age.

As a result of hormone imbalance, you may be experiencing one or a combination of what have become known as the classic symptoms of aging: Weight gain, Limited energy, Hair loss, Depression, Low sex drive, Mood swings, Sleeplessness, Poor concentration, Memory loss, Fatigue among others.

The good news, for both men and women, is that hormone loss and imbalance is correctable. Through state-of-the-art diagnostic hormone testing, using saliva, urine and/or blood analysis, Dr. Figueredo can determine your hormone levels and your unique bioidentical hormone needs.

Dr. Figueredo will partner with you throughout every step of your journey to help you achieve optimal health and reach your wellness goals. Your questions about your condition, treatment plan, or bioidentical hormone replacement therapy are reviewed and thoroughly addressed during one-on-one consultations with her.
