Visceral manipulation is the “missing link” for various maladies of the organs, nerves, vasculature and musculoskeletal system. This modality helps the body relieve and heal a wide range of maladies and symptoms too numerous to list, but including carpal tunnel syndrome, temporal mandibular syndrome, GERD/heartburn, incontinence and other bladder issues, pelvic prolapses, back pain, neck pain, neuralgias and other nervous system challenges, kidney stones, the list goes on.
Ali and her pup Peanut (pictured) will either help you or let you know they think there is a better choice for your treatment. Ali earned her massage license in 1993 and began her training in visceral manipulation in 2003. Since then, she has trained with and assisted various Barral Institute instructors from coast-to-coast in North America as well as Argentina, Portugal, and Puerto Rico, getting a very wide range of knowledge and tips from these instructors. Her pup Peanut has been one of her most helpful teachers, though.
All of her advanced training on the nervous system, vasculature, and viscera has been with Dr. Jean Pierre Barral himself, Dr. Alain Coibier, his business partner, or Dr. Gail Wetzler, the head of the Barral Institute. Ali is a certified teaching assistant with the Institute and has been sent all over North America and to locations such as Argentina, Portugal, and Puerto Rico to share her expertise by assisting at courses. She has declined invitations from the Institute to become an instructor because of her teaching load at UCF as a faculty member in Modern Languages & Literatures.
